You'll be joining our Commerce team within Accenture Song UKI, a dynamic group at the forefront of digital innovation. We're passionate about creating next-generation customer experiences, and we believe that generative AI and agentic commerce are key to unlocking the future of online shopping across a variety of industries. Our team is a mix of strategists, product owners, designers, and engineers, and we're looking for a hands-on technical practitioner to help us turn our ambitious vision into reality, as we prepare for a future of autonomous shopping and AI-driven personalization.
As a GenAI and Agentic Commerce Engineer you will...
- Design, build, and deploy cutting-edge generative AI and agentic commerce solutions for our clients.
- Develop GenAI and Agentic experiences across the commerce lifecycle, for example: conversational AI, AI-powered search, and LLM-based discovery and checkout.
- Use and integrate generative AI content creation tools to enhance product descriptions, imagery and personalised content
- Work with our functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI and agentic commerce and champion their adoption within the team.
Skills and experience...
We are looking for hands-on practitioners with a software development background who are passionate about this space and have been experimenting and building innovative solutions using the latest and greatest technology
- Proven experience in a technical role, with a focus on AI/ML
- Hands-on experience with AI Workbenches on major cloud platforms, such as Gemini Enterprise, Azure AI Agent
- Familiarity with GenAI frameworks and libraries like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Hugging Face.
- A solid understanding of generative AI concepts, models, and frameworks.
- Knowledge of the wider commerce technology stack, including PXM, CMS, and CDP platforms.
- An understanding of composable commerce principles and MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless) architecture.
- A deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape and its underlying technologies.
- Knowledge of AI Agentic Infrastructure, including Agent Orchestration Layers and integration protocols like MCP and ACP.
- Familiarity with the cloud environment, DevOps tools and observability for monitoring and optimizing agent performance.
- An understanding of customer data, databases, and data tools such as those available in GCP, including Google BigQuery.
Set yourself apart...
- A portfolio of building Proof-of-Concepts that demonstrate an aptitude for rapid learning and application of new technologies.
- Contributions to open-source projects in the generative AI or agentic commerce space
- A professional certification in a major cloud platform (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Experience delivering production AI/ML services for scaled end-user consumption within the retail or CPG industry.
