Google Cloud Architect Associate Manager
We are seeking a Google Cloud Technical Architecture Associate Manager to join the Accenture Google Business Group (AGBG) within Accenture Technology in the UK, with a strong focus on UK public sector clients. In this role, you will lead the technical architecture and delivery of secure, scalable Google Cloud solutions, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver enterprise-grade outcomes.
Security Clearance Requirement
Any offer of employment is subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance. This requires a minimum of 5 years continuous UK address history at the point of application, typically including no periods of 30 consecutive days or more spent outside of the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture and delivery of Google Cloud solutions for public sector clients
- Design, deploy and operate secure sovereign Google Cloud solutions, including client-site and internal reference implementations
- Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentorship to small delivery teams
- Translate business and non-functional requirements into robust, scalable cloud architectures
- Ensure solutions align with security, compliance and public sector standards
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years uninterrupted residency in the UK
- At least one Google Cloud Professional-level certification
- Strong expertise across Google Cloud services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage and GKE
- Experience architecting and engineering cloud-based solutions to meet business outcomes and non-functional requirements
- Hands-on experience producing technical documentation including architecture diagrams, design specifications and runbooks
- Experience implementing foundational cloud platforms including landing zones, IAM, VPC and networking
- Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Set Yourself Apart
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform), CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices including IAM, encryption and firewalling
- Hands-on networking experience across cloud and on-premise environments
- Proven experience leading small technical teams and mentoring junior colleagues
- Experience in site reliability engineering or production operations, including incident troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills with examples of technical innovation or process improvement
