PMO
We are recruiting an Inline PMO (Risk Analysis) on a 6 months rolling contract basis.
Responsible for managing and governing the investment-related project activities across EMEA and in close liaison with Head Office. Reporting to the Project Governance team leader, the PMO will support all the planning activities related to the implementation of Head Office Group and EMEA region technology project initiatives and further facilitate to project management related activities and matters in relation to system project manager, in order to maximise the capability to provide IT services support and to keep the team management within the various kind of projects. The inline PMO will work closely with the project manager and business engagement functions as well as PMs and PMOs to provide portfolio assurance, good governance and management reporting.
Job description
- Oversight & Monitoring. Challenge and validate data in plan view including status, progress, milestones, RAIDs and Financials, driving action with PM’s to correct and manage information.
- Risk & Issue Management: Support portfolio lead to resolve issues and control the Portfolio.
- Undertake Project Reviews / Health Checks Facilitate weekly Working Group (Portfolio lead and all PM’S) review and sharing of status / progress on all projects including prep Support monthly Programme Meetings capturing actions
- Secretariat to monthly Portfolio Committees including pack production, meeting schedule, minutes and actions, attendees / distribution lists, maintenance of ToR General meeting organisation / admin / Meeting trackers
- Ensure change control and governance is used in line with PDLC and Business rules
- Police the portfolio ensuring company policy is applied e.g. financial approvals, change control etc
- Ensure Document Management & Storage is undertaken correctly
- Drive compliance with PDLC advising PM’s as required
- AE Attestation Tracking / control, System Access and Set up, Coaching, Tools, Templates etc
- Induction, training and Guidance to PM’s’ on plan view and project process etc
- Support and guide the planning, controlling, monitoring and organising of the portfolio, ensuring compliance with governance and reporting and that the book of work is within delivery capability and resource capacity
- Ensure change control and governance is used in line with PDLC and Business rules
- Police the portfolio ensuring company policy is applied e.g. financial approvals, change control etc
Requirements:
- Demonstrable practical experience with demand and financial planning required, previous experience with PMO/PLC processes and controls beneficial
- Basic knowledge of IT beneficial
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, in particular MS Excel, IT literate
- Highly numerate, analytical and logical, with attention to detail and the ability to systematically break apart complex problems
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within an IT or Financial Services Environment
- Preferably degree educated or similar qualification or practical experience,
- Business level of English required. Japanese Language skills beneficial
- Excellent communication skills.
- Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability
Conditions:
- Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum
- Starting as a 6 months rolling contract
- Travel expense provided, other benefits available depending on the length of service
