SAP Senior Specialist

Excellent opportunity as a SAP Senior Specialist at a well- established premium brand. Our client is aiming to expand their global business including EMEA, they are recruiting this role to proactively participate toward this mission.

As our client are modemizing their technical core, they are recruiting a Senior SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash(O2C) specialist to lead, operate, and optimize their end-to-end commercial data streams across Retail, E-Commerce, Digital Marketplaces, Logistics, and Finance. This role ensures real-time data integrity between SAP S/4HANA, SAP CAR, Magento, Tradebyte, Cegid POS, 3PL warehouses, and financial systems to support a premium, seamless omnichannel customer experience.

Job description:

1. SAP Functional Leadership & O2C Core Configuration (SD/MM/LE)

• Process Architecture: Act as the functional owner for the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash lifecycle, driving continuous improvement in order processing speed, fulfilment accuracy, and revenue assurance across EMEA.
• Hands-on Configuration: Deeply engage in the hands-on configuration of core Sales and Distribution (SD) and Logistics Execution (LE) building blocks, specifically focusing on advanced pricing conditions, Available-to-Promise (ATP/aATP), delivery processing, shipping, billing, and global returns management.
• Financial & Localization Alignment: Set up and manage complex cross-border controls, including intercompany inventory flows, credit management, accurate multi-currency handling, and country-specific tax/VAT localizations across European markets.

2. Digital Commerce, Omnichannel & POS Integrations

• E-Commerce Data Integrity: Govern and optimize real-time SAP Magento data pipelines ensuring flawless synchronization of product catalogs, localized pricing, dynamic stock pools, customer orders, cancellations, refunds, and returns.
• Marketplace Engineering: Manage and scale high-volume SAP Tradebyte configurations to sustain seamless multi-country transactional growth across modern digital marketplaces like Zalando, Rakuten, and future platforms such as ASOS.
• Unified Brick-and-Mortar Ingestion: Ensure that in-store Cegid POS sales transactions (WPUUMS logs) and localized store inventory adjustments map, audit, and post accurately without latency into both SAP CAR and core S/4HANA.

3. Warehouse Logistics, Third-Party (3PL) & EWM Execution

• Logistics System Support: Oversee and troubleshoot core warehouse technology handshakes spanning inbound logistics, outbound processing, Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN), picking, packing, and final carrier shipping documentation.
• 3PL Data Reconciliation: Act as the primary technical interface for third-party logistics (3PL) partners, rapidly identifying and resolving transactional messaging failures, inventory balance mismatches, and physical-to-digital fulfilment exceptions.
• Extended Warehouse Operations: Apply strong functional knowledge of SAP EWM process logic to streamline distribution centre workflows and support regional warehouse migration initiatives.

4. Real-Time Data Auditing & Inventory Visibility (SAP CAR)

• Omnichannel Article Availability: Support and optimize SAP CAR processes, specifically managing Point of Sale Data Transfer and Audit (POSDTA), real-time stock availability, and Omnichannel Article Availability (OAA) concepts.
• Cross-Channel Stock Auditing: Enforce strict data quality (DQ) rules to secure complete alignment and movement consistency across e-commerce platforms, active marketplaces, physical stores, and 3PL warehouses.

5. Middleware Governance & Interface Optimization (IDocs / CPI / BTP)

• Interface Triaging: Proactively monitor, debug, and clear high-volume system-to-system integration bottlenecks, taking absolute ownership of transaction-critical IDoc errors (including ORDERS, DESADV, INVRPT, MBGMCR, INVOIC, and WPUUMS).
• Integration Layer Scaling: Partner closely with SAP CPI/BTP middleware development groups to enhance structural mapping logic, design advanced automated error-handling routines, and configure network prerequisites for newly onboarded sales channels or carriers.

6. Transformation Initiatives, Project Delivery & Documentation

• Next-Gen Omnichannel Feature Delivery: Contribute directly to Onitsuka Tiger’s regional digital core transformation milestones, leading the system logic design for advanced retail initiatives like Click & Collect, Ship-from-Store, and Endless Aisle.
• Transformation Governance: Champion new country rollouts, new retail store technical readiness schedules, 3PL operator transitions, and backend finance transformation streams.
• Technical Asset Craftsmanship: Author and maintain elite project and operational artifacts, including Business Process Master Lists (BPML), comprehensive Functional Specifications (FS) for technical ABAP/WRICEF teams, realistic test scripts, data validation models, and detailed technical cutover playbooks.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of functional SAP experience in S/4HANA SD/MM/LE with heavy O2C expertise.
• Proven track record in Retail, Fashion, DTC, or consumer goods environments.
• SAP SD Configuration: Deep expertise in pricing, ATP/aATP, delivery, billing, and returns.
• Logistics & CAR: Functional knowledge of SAP EWM processes (inbound/outbound/ASN) and SAP CAR (POSDTA, real-time stock, OAA concepts).
• Data Interfaces: Strong IDoc troubleshooting (ORDERS, DESADV, INVRPT, MBGMCR, WPUUMS)
• Cross-System Triaging: Expert ability to debug end-to-end flows across SAP E-com POS WMS Finance.
• Minimum of 2 full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
• Deep expertise in retail/DTC e-commerce transactional flows and multi-market European localization (VAT, currency).
• High comfort collaborating with technical ABAP and WRICEF development teams.

Conditions:

• Salary - £65-80,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Location – London (Hybrid working)
