Edge Consultant/SME

I am recruiting for an Edge Consultant/SME to be based 1-2 days in Liverpool, remaining time remote.

The role falls inside IR35 so you will be required to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

You must have strong experience of Edge Hosting.

You will establish Edge Hosting as a scalable, governed and consumable service by defining the operating model, service boundaries, governance, standards and delivery processes required to support sustained demand.

You must have significant experience establishing enterprise infrastructure, hybrid-cloud and Edge Services in complex global organisations.

Strong service design and operating model expertise, including governance, service ownership, ITIL disciplines and operational readiness.

A broad understanding of hybrid cloud, virtualisation/HCI, Kubernetes, networking, security, observability and distributed infrastructure.

You will ideally have experience of Manufacturing/factory IT and IT/OT.
