Bounteous is looking for a multi-solution platform architect to join our expanding Digital Experience Platforms practice as a Director of Marketing Technology based in the United Kingdom. This role requires extensive technical expertise and consulting experience in marketing technology platforms, particularly with the Adobe Experience Cloud. Candidates should have a solid understanding of industry trends, experience management, marketing automation, journey orchestration, data management, and marketing technologies in general. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, continuously improve, and leverage their subject matter expertise to meet client needs and adapt to sales situations.

This role facilitates a smooth transition from pre-sales to delivery teams, acting as a trusted advisor to both clients and platform partners. It collaborates with client service and business development teams to identify and expand account opportunities, crafting solutions that enhance customer value through marketing technology platforms. The individual serves as a reliable advisor, helping clients maximize the use of their platform solutions and continually extract value from their tools beyond the initial implementation. Furthermore, they support delivery teams and manage execution to achieve client objectives.

This high-visibility position fosters partnerships with Adobe and other platforms, driving innovation, promoting product adoption, securing company certifications, and influencing product roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a platform expert with a focus, initially, on the Adobe Experience Cloud (Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Marketo, and other products)
• Maintain subject matter expertise as platforms evolve
• Stay on top of industry trends and ability and willingness to learn about and speak to a variety of platforms
• Identify and build out packaged offerings and/or accelerators to assist in sales and create more efficiencies leading to strong customer value realization and/or optimizations.
• Collaborate with platform partners on product roadmap advisory, feature exploration and development, and integration solutions and approaches
• Partner with client service and business development to support pitches and follow-on client work
• Strategize, architect, and create approaches for scalable, tailored platform implementations
• Present and articulate subject matter expertise through compelling client presentations
• Scope estimates and collaborate on multi-solution and multi-platform solutions and scoping
• Lead customer-facing workshops, demos, and hands-on labs
• Provide deep domain expertise in client business, technology stack, and data infrastructure, complemented by a wide-ranging knowledge base in digital marketing
• Provide thought leadership in the marketing technology space and help Bounteous differentiate as the go-to partner in this space
• Develop deep knowledge of each client's business and available data to ensure platform solutioning is in alignment with client's marketing objectives
• Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for platform configuration, initial architecture(s), data schemas and system integrations to deliver against business needs
• Oversee and steer client programs and development work to meet client objectives
• Provide support to development teams with solutioning
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the marketing technology space advising clients, designing solutions, creating architectures, leading pursuits and delivery efforts
• 3+ years of experience at a digital-first, global delivery agency/consultancy
• Strong consultative and client-facing skills
• Working knowledge of the Adobe Experience Cloud (Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Marketo, and other products)
• Self-driven; the ability to work independently, define a way forward, and solve problems with limited direction; proven capacity to drive results in an evolving and complex organization
• Strong communicator with all levels of leadership, management, and staff to achieve desired outcomes and build strong alliances and relationships
• Outstanding executive presence, presentation, and negotiation skills; the ability to inspire, engage, partner with, and influence senior leadership
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Digitally-savvy and well-informed on innovations, trends, and technologies
• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, or related field or equivalent work experience preferred
