Interim Financial Accountant

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing, international technology and AI focused organisation who are seeking to appoint an experienced Interim Accountant on an initial 3-6 month contract.

This is a fully remote opportunity.

This role is ideal for an immediately available technical Accountant with strong IFRS experience, looking for a project-focused contract with the potential for extension.

• Support the Finance Lead with year-end close, preparation of financial statements and audit readiness
• Prepare audit working papers and manage auditor queries
• Assist with the consolidation of an international group
• Lead key areas of technical accounting including IFRS 16, IFRS 2 and IFRS 15
• Support acquisition-related accounting including investment recognition, goodwill calculations and deferred consideration
• Prepare or support tax returns and associated compliance work
• Build and maintain complex financial models using Google Sheets / Excel
• Assist with additional finance projects and reporting requirements as needed

Finance Lead

Interviews will be happening as soon as possible

• ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant (or equivalent)
• Strong audit background
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS (particularly IFRS 16, 2 and 15)
• Experience in acquisition accounting and integration
• Experience working on consolidation for an international group
• Excellent Google Sheets / Excel skills
• Previous experience in a SaaS or technology-led business (desirable)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
