Head of IT
Are you a strategic IT leader ready to shape the future of a growing and diverse UK group? We are partnering with a dynamic organisation based in Borehamwood with an ambitious growth strategy, technology is at the heart of their success and this is a key leadership role driving that vision forward.
This is a high impact, strategic and operational leadership role, where you will take full ownership of the Group IT function. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to define and deliver a best-in-class IT strategy, ensuring systems, security, and data are aligned to business growth.
You’ll have the autonomy to shape the IT landscape, i nfluence investment decisions, and implement innovative solutions that drive efficiency and performance across multiple business units.
What you will be doing:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver a group-wide IT strategy aligned to ambitious growth plans
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define technology roadmaps and investment priorities
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the organisation
IT Operations & Systems
- Oversee all IT systems, infrastructure, and service delivery
- Ensure performance and reliability across platforms
- Lead system integrations and enhancements across a multi-entity environment
Cybersecurity & Risk
- Take ownership of IT security, governance, and risk frameworks
- Lead cyber-security strategy, including penetration testing, SOC engagement, and vulnerability management
Leadership & Transformation
- Lead and develop the internal IT function
- Drive systems implementation and integration projects
- Champion technology to enhance the employee and customer experience
Ideal Candidate:
- At least 5 years + experience within an infrastructure type role
- Strong expertise in IT strategy, infrastructure, and systems
- Demonstrable experience in cybersecurity, governance, and risk management
- Commercially minded
- Strong leadership
