Account Manager - High-Growth Technology Reseller

Location: East Sussex

Remuneration Package: £65k+ OTE

We’re representing a high-growth technology reseller that is scaling fast and looking to hire a commercially sharp Account Manager who wants to win.

Our client is a top-tier Specialist VAR, partnered at the highest levels as a Lenovo Platinum, HP Amplify, and Dell Gold Partner. They supply critical hardware and software into education, healthcare, and enterprise markets.

This is not a maintenance role. This is for someone who wants to build, win, and materially increase their earnings.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of both new business and an existing account base, with full responsibility for driving revenue. You’ll be expected to hunt, close and grow - while delivering a high standard of account management.

  • Win new business and open doors with target clients
  • Grow and monetise existing accounts through strategic upselling
  • Take full ownership of client relationships and commercial outcomes
  • Run deals end-to-end, from initial engagement through to negotiation and close
  • Convert inbound demand quickly and effectively

What You’ll Be Measured On

  • Revenue growth — consistently and materially
  • New business wins and pipeline generation
  • Upsell and cross-sell performance across the portfolio
  • Hitting and exceeding KPIs and targets
  • Contribution to a high-performance sales environment

What They’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years in a sales or account management role (tech or B2B preferred)
  • Not essential, but highly advantageous if you can bring an existing customer base or established client relationships that can be developed further within the business.
  • Proven ability to generate revenue, not just manage accounts
  • Strong commercial instinct and confidence in closing
  • Competitive, driven and motivated by earnings
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, target-led environment
