🚀 Senior Desktop Support Engineer – Hedge Fund Opportunity
Actus Search are currently supporting a global hedge fund in hiring a Senior Desktop Support Engineer to join their Technology Operations team.
This is a high-impact, user-facing role supporting a global trading environment, where reliability, responsiveness, and technical expertise are critical.
🔧 What you’ll be doing
- Providing onsite and remote support to a global user base (500+ users) across a Windows environment
- Supporting core technologies including:
- Microsoft Office / Office 365 / Outlook
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- Azure, OneDrive, SharePoint, DLP
- Managing incidents and service requests using structured processes and runbooks
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues across desktop environments
- Collaborating with Level 2/3 teams and external vendors on complex issues
- Proactively monitoring systems and resolving alerts before they impact users
- Driving automation and efficiency improvements across support processes

📍 Working model
- 4 days onsite / 1 day remote

💡 Ideal background
- Strong experience supporting Windows 10 / Windows Server environments
- Expertise in Active Directory, Office 365, and desktop support troubleshooting
- Experience with hardware support and remote access tools
- Scripting experience (PowerShell/Python) is a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
