Head of Operations

Our client is a crypto-native venture studio and DeFi trading firm backed by a global proprietary trading firm. They build, fund, and scale foundational blockchain ventures — taking ideas from zero to one and deploying them at institutional scale. Their advantage lies in deep expertise in market infrastructure, hands-on product execution, and access to committed liquidity and leading ecosystem partners.

The Role:

As they expand their portfolio, we are seeking a dynamic Head of Business Operations to oversee the daily operations and drive operational excellence across our diverse ecosystem of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness across all projects within Ergonia Labs.
• Translate strategic objectives into operational plans across business lines, including venture studio, trading, and protocol ventures.
• Lead Liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including DRW, Cumberland, legal advisors, vendors, and development partners.
• Oversee entity formation, banking infrastructure, ensuring alignment with legal, financial, and regulatory standards.
• Deliver clear operational reporting and actionable performance insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between Finance, HR, and Legal to deliver on business goals.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize performance and support strategic initiatives.
• Provide leadership through line management, coaching, and performance oversight, fostering a high-performing and accountable culture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in business operations, with a strong background in fintech, venture capital, or the crypto industry.
• Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams, with excellent project management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Experience in developing operational policies and procedures that drive efficiency and promote best practices.
• Passion for technology and innovation, coupled with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
