We're looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to join our commercial team. This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role for someone who understands financial crime deeply, enjoys working closely with clients, and wants to contribute directly to the growth of a company shaping the future of financial crime prevention.
Acuminor is a technology company founded in 2018 by experts in law enforcement and international banking. From our offices in Stockholm and London, we support more than 500 organizations with award-winning technology and intelligence to help them identify, assess, mitigate, and manage risks related to money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions violations, and other financial crimes across the entire organization.
What you'll do
- Be part of our small, senior commercial team, driving sales activities end-to-end from initial conversations to signed engagements
- Build and manage your own pipeline and deliver on agreed sales targets
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand complex financial crime challenges and priorities
- Help prospects identify gaps across their financial crime framework and guide them towards the most suitable solutions
- Work closely with colleagues in the commercial team, as well as product and intelligence teams, to shape and execute deals
- Stay close to market and regulatory developments to ensure relevant and credible client discussions
Required experience
- 5+ years in financial crime leadership roles within banking and/or large fintech in the EU or UK, with end-to-end experience across the full financial crime framework, including business-wide risk assessment, transaction monitoring, KYC/onboarding, and governance
- 5+ years in senior consulting roles, with responsibility for driving your own business metrics and sales activities
- Strong people skills and a genuine enjoyment of helping prospects understand problems and find the right solutions
- A real interest in developing the commercial side of a growing company together with colleagues
- You enjoy getting into the details and being part of building something great
Nice to have
- Experience from law enforcement or a regulator
- Enjoy participating in panel discussions and speaking at conferences
- Experience working with HubSpot or other CRM systems
