Location: East Barnet / Homeworking
Salary: £29,000 Pro Rata (£17,400 per annum)
Vacancy Type: 12-month fixed term contract (With potential extension subject to funding)
Hours: 21 hours per week (Plus statutory breaks)
The Foundation was set up to help bring local solutions to local issues. It is a London Borough of Barnet (LBB) specific membership organisation.
They work strategically to bring charities and organisations together to support and build capacity in the Children and Young People's (CYP) voluntary sector across the borough. Their vision is for young people to grow up healthy, safe and happy with the best opportunities to secure brighter futures.
The Role
The Foundation is looking for a Data & Impact Officer to focus presenting and reporting on the essential work and impact the foundation engages with the community in the borough of Barnet.
The role will look to build upon the current success of the position bringing new and fresh ideas on how to collect, analyse and utilise the data to report back to funders, the community and strategic partners.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a strand of work where you will have the autonomy and support to build the role in a way that best meets the needs of children and young people across Barnet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data & Evaluation
- Collect and analyse data to evidence the impact of their activities and funded projects
- Produce high quality impact reports for funders, trustees and strategic partners
- Lead on quarterly all staff review meetings: compiling information and presenting analysis to the team
- Manage the annual Member Renewal process, from data collection, validation and Salesforce updates
- Take ownership of maintaining and enhancing Salesforce CRM, ensuring it is fit for purpose and supports effective reporting
- Use tools (Salesforce, Excel etc) to track outcomes and present findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Financial Operations
- Assist in recording income from fundraising events and external funders
- Assist with monthly payments process: staff payroll, supplier and grant payments
- Assist with maintaining internal financial records
- Capacity Building
- Develop resources and templates to support staff in providing consistent and effective assistance to member organisations
- Governance & Compliance
- Maintain data quality and integrity across YBF systems
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR)
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to work confidently with quantitative and qualitative data
- Experience in developing effective relationships/partnership working
- Experience collaborating within a team
- Experience translating complex data into clear, accessible insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
