Location: Malton, North Yorkshire/Hybrid/Remote
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Part Time. 22.5 hour per week
Vacancy Type: Temporary - This is a 12-month fixed term contract with scope to be extended.

The Role
The organisation seeks a Digital Transformation Manager capable of guiding them through the implementation of their new chosen digital CRM/CMS technology and integrating it into all areas of the business. The successful candidate will be hands-on with strategic leadership insight who can maximise the potential of their new systems for the benefit of the organisation team, their member community, and their wider audience. The successful candidate will work as part of a small, dedicated team and report to their new-in-post CEO who is excited to be leading the organisation into its next stage of sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution:
- Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and assessment of their digital transformation project from current stage through to iteration, maximising its potential throughout.
- Review and re-define – if necessary – the project scope, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Fully understand the system capabilities in order to form a plan for future iterations.
- Monitor project performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to the CEO.
Change Management:
- Ensure successful adoption of new digital technologies, processes, and systems across the organisation, and an efficient customer experience for their members.
- Address concerns, mitigate resistance, and inspire the team to own and embrace new ways of working with their systems.
- Foster a culture of digital literacy and continuous learning by facilitating training programs and workshops alongside their consultants.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, including the team, their Board and external partners.
- Take responsibility for a holistic view of the customer experience, recognising touch points and milestones where their systems can engage members, capture data, and inform their thinking.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and project outcomes clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Secure buy-in and collaboration from stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
Process Optimisation & Innovation:
- Working with the team, create efficiencies in existing business processes through the application of technology and automation.
- Drive innovation by exploring and recommending new tools, platforms, and methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Use data to inform decision-making, optimise digital initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles associated with digital initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security regulations, and industry best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a similar digital transformation, IT management, or consulting role, with a strong track record of successfully leading complex digital projects.
- Deep understanding of digital technologies such as cloud computing, AI, machine learning, IoT, data analytics and reporting, and automation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with various methodologies, and the ability to engage a team effectively.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to embrace concerns at all levels and ‘take them with you’ as the project progresses.
- Proven experience in change management and organisational development.
- Ability to think strategically, foresee future trends, and identify opportunities for competitive advantage.
- Member-centric approach with a focus on enhancing user experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working in the membership sector.
- Use of the Ready Membership platform as a CRM.
- Experience with B2B2C projects, including customer experience improvement.
