Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum DOE

The Role

They’re looking for a talented Junior or Mid Level Full-Stack Developer with a passion for solving problems through technology.

In this role, you’ll contribute to building and maintaining digital tools that support everything from customer bookings to operator management. You’ll work with Vue.js on the front end and PHP/Laravel on the back end, joining a small, agile tech team focused on making coach hire as easy and efficient as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web-based tools for booking, scheduling, and fleet management.
  • Implement and enhance front-end features using Vue.js, ensuring a smooth user experience for both customers and partners.
  • Contribute to the development of Laravel-based APIs and backend systems that power their platform.
  • Participate in specification writing, project management, and code reviews as part of an agile development cycle.
  • Collaborate with other developers, designers, and operations staff to bring ideas to life.
  • Assist with testing, debugging, and maintaining a high standard of code quality.
  • Help evolve and scale their existing systems as the business grows.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in full-stack or web development (commercial, freelance, or personal projects).
  • Working knowledge of Vue.jsor similar Javascript frameworks, including component development and state management.
  • Experience with PHP and MVC frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
  • Familiarity with core front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3.
  • Good understanding of MySQL or similar relational databases.
  • Version control experience using Git.
  • Experience with test driven development.
  • Clear communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning and collaboration.
  • Strong problem solver and ability to "think outside the box".
  • Good attention to detail and consistency when writing code.
