Contract Developer with Golang experience

Rate: £450 - £500 p/d Outside IR35
Location: Manchester - 2 days per week onsite, 3 days from home
Duration: 6 months initially

We're looking for an experienced Developer with experience in Golang to join a fast-moving engineering team on an initial 6-month contract. This role will focus on building scalable applications, microservices, and Real Time data solutions within a modern technical environment.

The key requirement for this role is strong commercial experience with Golang. Experience with React and modern Front End development would be highly beneficial but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web, Back End, and desktop applications
• Develop scalable Golang microservices and Back End solutions
• Contribute to React Front End applications and user interfaces where required
• Work with C#.NET, SQL Server, and modern web technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Support integrations with external data providers

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Golang
• Experience building scalable Back End services and microservices
• Strong experience with SQL Server and database development
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
