Software Engineer

Software Developer –| Manchester | Hybrid | Up to £55,000 + Bonus

Work Arrangement: 2 days in the office, 3 days from home

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and enhance core platforms supporting real-time facial recognition and operational tooling.
• Build scalable, low-latency applications across a modern tech stack including Golang, .NET, React, Kafka, SQL, and TypeScript.
• Contribute to a ground-up re-architecture project driving innovation and reliability.
• Maintain clean, efficient code and identify opportunities for technical improvement.

What We’re Looking For:

• Commercial experience in web client and/or server-side development .
• Strong knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies (.NET, React, TypeScript, or similar).
• Familiarity with Kafka, SQL , and modern cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in agile environments with high levels of change.
• Understanding of automation, CI/CD, and software development best practices.
