About Adamo

Adamo is a venture backed teleoperation platform that provides human-in-the-loop control and monitoring for humanoid and autonomous vehicles. We enable low-latency remote operation, quality assurance, and real-world data collection for robotics companies globally.
We are a small, fast, execution-focused team building the operational backbone for the future of robotics deployment.
We are a three person team in the London office (including the two founders) and are hiring an engineer to take on critical company-level execution as we scale up deployment across more robot fleets.

The Role

This is a full-time, on-site role based in London for a Software Engineer.
The role involves developing and implementing teleoperation systems for advanced robotic platforms.
Daily tasks include:
Working on our custom video streaming protocol, purpose-designed for teleoperation
Integrating with all parts of the robotic stack for our horizontally deployed teleoperation and data collection platform
Deep dives into the low-level technologies underpinning the performance of our teleoperation system
Working on our distributed networking infrastructure and underlying mesh network to ensure fast and reliable transmission of data between robots and operators

Skills we look for

Proficiency in building entire systems from scratch, (we’ve built our own video streaming protocol, Kafka-like streaming library and renderers)
Experience programming in low-level systems languages, namely Rust.
Experience with low latency video streaming in a production environment.
Robotics networking stack (Zenoh, Networked ROS, etc.).
Experience with decentralised systems (IoT) and robotic fleet management.
Strong passion for optimization
Experience with Software Development, including programming, debugging, and system integration
Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
