PHP Laravel Developer

We're working with a growing fintech business looking for a PHP Laravel Developer to help build and enhance their customer-facing platforms, internal systems and APIs. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll have real ownership and influence over the products you develop.

The Role
· Develop and maintain applications using PHP 8, Laravel and MySQL.
· Build new features across web platforms, backend systems and APIs.
· Optimise performance, scalability and code quality.
· Work closely with the CTO and development team on new projects and enhancements.

What We're Looking For
· Commercial experience with PHP and Laravel.
· Strong understanding of MySQL, APIs, MVC and OOP principles.
· Experience within a LAMP or LEMP environment.
· A passion for learning and delivering high-quality software.

Nice to Have
· Exposure to AI applications, LLMs or intelligent automation projects.
· Python experience for integrations, automation or backend services.
· Experience with AWS, Vue.js or modern development practices.
· Fintech or financial services experience.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE
