Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager

Adaptive HVM is currently seeking an experienced Sr Technical Infrastructure Program Manager (TIPM) for one of our clients in a 8 month contract with possibility of extension or become permanent. our team.

Using your technical background, you will need to understand implementation challenges of each organization and team, and find solutions while also earning trust with senior management to drive adoption from the top down. Responsibilities

  • Manage complex infrastructure builds, delivering critical solutions, significant improvements, new mechanisms, or deprecating processes that are no longer needed. These efforts require you to work with multiple teams in and/or across organizations.
  • You will be accountable for the overall strategy of a large program.
  • You will manage all stages (from concept to delivery).
  • Meets business goals and/or shows measurable improvements in your customer’s experience, business or employee efficiency or execution, compliance adherence, financial or other metrics, etc.
  • Understand the interdependencies and functionality of the technologies you work with (e.g. customer requirements, deployment constraints, design limitations, operational support requirements).
  • Influence team priorities and business strategy through data-supported contributions.
  • Make a case for project priorities, resource allocation, and/or appropriate program adoption, to achieve a desired business outcome, resolve a technical deficiency, or unblock delivery.
  • Communicate ideas effectively, verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences including Directors and VPs.
  • Foster a constructive dialogue, harmonize discordant views, and lead the resolution of contentious issues (build consensus).
  • Partner successfully with customers, stakeholders, and engineering teams.
  • Program management practices that set a great example to others.
  • Routinely and efficiently deliver the right things.
  • Define clear goals and objectives.
  • Drive crisp decisions in program area about what projects move forward and in what priority order.
  • Proactively identify risks and bring them to the attention of your team and stakeholders with plans for mitigation before they become roadblocks.

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience managing IT projects from initiation to closure.
  • Knowledge and experience with core IT network infrastructure and service concepts, and networking
  • Project management training, PMP or Prince2 certification

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Intermediate-level knowledge in one or more of the following: LAN, WAN, Wireless, Telecommunications, Systems Administration, Low voltage data cabling, or data facilities technologies.
  • Exemplary communication skills, managing conflict, escalations, negotiating compromise and influencing others.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across organizational structures and multiple management levels.
  • Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments, and levels, and serve as a role model for teamwork.
  • Site launch experience of IT infrastructure (WLAN, LAN, end user equipment) in retail, distribution, logistics or similar.
  • Experience with procurement of IT equipment.
  • Knowledge of any regional and European languages
