Sales Development Representative
Excited to be recruiting for this Seed-Stage tech firm on the hunt for a Founding Sales Development Representative, supporting their Head of Growth.
The company is in the energy-tech world, allowing SMEs to have full visibility on their energy consumption, identify cost-saving opportunities and gain actionable insights that make an immediate impact. Their solution is game changing for SMEs, and they're already working with some exciting brands within hospitality, retail and real estate.
They're at an exciting stage of growth, and are looking for a Founding Sales Development Representative. This is more than an SDR role - you'll have the opportunity to set-up processes, work closely with leadership and have a genuine stamp on the GTM motion. Eventually, you'll manage more of the sales process, negotiate and close deals, and help build the team.
The Role
- Identifying businesses who would benefit from the solution
- Outbound prospecting through cold calling, LinkedIn, email and any other creative outreach
- Booking in demos of the solution and working closely with the Head of Growth & Founder
- Mapping out key processes, including defining ICPs & verticals, playbooks and GTM strategy
- Reporting closely on progress and refining strategy
- Eventually manage more of the sales cycle, negotiate and help build out the team
Who Are You
- 8+ months of SDR experience, ideally in tech or SaaS
- Strong cold caller and loves to build relationships
- High energy and personable
- Strategic and organised
- Ideally worked in a start-up or a fast-growing environment
- Driven and keen to play a part in building out the sales team
