Senior Account Manager

Account Manager – Value Added Reseller - Remote UK

We are a growing independent IT reseller looking for an experienced Account Manager to help expand our customer base and grow accounts.

This role focuses on building strong relationships with end-user organisations, helping them procure and deploy the right mix of IT hardware, infrastructure, and technology solutions.

Working within a small and agile team, the successful candidate will have the autonomy to manage their accounts, develop new business opportunities, and deliver long-term customer value.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management & Growth

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing end-user customers
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer technology environments
  • Deliver a high level of customer service and account support

New Business Development

  • Identify and win new customers across the UK
  • Build a strong sales pipeline through networking, referrals, and outreach
  • Develop long-term trusted advisor relationships

Solution Sales

Support customers with sourcing and delivering solutions including:

  • End-user computing (laptops, desktops, accessories)
  • Servers and data centre infrastructure
  • Storage and networking solutions
  • IT peripherals and hardware refresh projects
  • Cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions

Sales Management

  • Produce quotations and proposals
  • Manage opportunities through CRM
  • Deliver against agreed revenue targets and pipeline objectives

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in IT reseller or IT solutions sales
  • Strong background selling hardware and infrastructure to end-user organisations
  • Track record of new business development and account growth
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote sales role
