What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing, simulating, and implementing FPGA-based digital logic solutions.
  • Developing and optimising real-time digital signal processing algorithms, including filters, FFTs, and signal demodulation.
  • Building and managing high-speed hardware interfaces such as ADC, DAC, and PCIe.
  • Working closely with embedded software, PCB design, and systems engineering teams to integrate firmware into wider systems.
  • Supporting lab-based testing and debugging using specialist equipment to validate and refine designs.

Main Skills Needed:

  • Strong FPGA development experience using VHDL or Verilog.
  • Background implementing DSP algorithms in hardware environments.
  • Experience working with MATLAB or Simulink for modelling and simulation.
  • Programming knowledge in C/C++ or Python for testing, automation, or embedded interaction.
  • Solid understanding of digital communications and RF concepts.
