Head of AI

We’re working on a genuinely high-impact Head of AI opportunity with a major, consumer-facing business.

This is not a role for someone who has just been close to AI programmes or sat around innovation conversations. They need someone with the credibility to shape AI strategy at senior level, build and lead a strong team, and get close enough to the detail to challenge thinking, steer direction, and make sound technical calls.

You’ll be owning the AI agenda across the business — identifying where it can create real value, turning that into a clear roadmap, and leading the delivery of AI solutions that are practical, scalable, well-governed, and commercially meaningful.

It’s a rare opportunity to step into a business where AI has real attention, real backing, and real scope to make an impact.

What they’re looking for:

• Proven leadership experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science or Advanced Analytics
• Strong technical grounding in AI/ML with the ability to challenge and guide at depth
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams
• Track record of taking AI products or solutions from idea through to production
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and shape strategy at business level
• Commercially minded approach — someone who understands that AI has to drive outcomes, not just interest

This will suit someone who can operate at both levels — strategic enough to shape the direction, technical enough to know what good looks like, and credible enough to bring senior stakeholders with them.

• Not an ivory-tower strategist.
• Not a pure hands-on builder.
• A proper AI leader who can do both.
