Head of Planning and Subcontract Manufacturing

We are seeking a Head of Planning and Subcontract Manufacturing to drive production efficiency, oversee materials planning, and ensure seamless delivery of high-tech products to our clients. Lead cross-departmental collaborations, manage supplier relationships, and foster continuous improvement in a dynamic, innovative environment. Your expertise will play a key role in shaping tomorrow’s technology solutions while protecting what matters most.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience as a Head of Planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics or electromechanical assembly
- Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (experience with IFS is an advantage)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication skills, with experience working alongside senior executives
- Skilled in Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques
- Degree qualification; CPIM certification is a plus
- High computer literacy and data analysis capability
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with materials requirement planning and inventory management
- Knowledge of supply chain resilience strategies
- Experience working with subcontractors and suppliers in a production setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Degree-qualified professional; additional certifications such as CPIM are desirable
- Significant leadership experience in manufacturing, especially in electronics or precision engineering sectors
Other Requirements:
- Eligibility for SC security clearance
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and problem-solve effectively
- Willingness to lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop supplier partnerships
