Infosec Solutions Architect (Contract)

As a trusted partner to organisations navigating major change, this consultancy helps turn strategy into something tangible. You’ll play a key role in strengthening a well-known hospitality brand’s security landscape, shaping practical solutions that stand up in the real world.

Role Overview:

Location: Hybrid/Bedfordshire (2-3 days per week on site).

Contract Length: 6 Month Contract with scope for further extension

Day Rate: £500-£625 per day Inside IR35

Industry: Consulting/Hospitality

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supporting security and infrastructure projects under the guidance of senior architects.
• Designing secure, scalable solutions that uplift the organisation’s overall security posture.
• Working closely with InfoSec, IT, and wider technical teams to deliver resilient architecture.
• Advising on tooling, controls, and technologies to reduce risk and strengthen governance.
• Contributing to policy development, standards, and best practices across the security function.
• Keeping ahead of emerging threats and trends, bringing relevant insights into project delivery.

Main Skills Needed:

• Strong background in solution architecture with deep security and infrastructure expertise.
• Happy to commit to 2-3 days per week on the end client's site in Bedfordshire.
• Experience delivering security initiatives in large, complex enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of frameworks, protocols, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, identity & access).
• Confident in designing secure network architecture and resolving security-related challenges.
• Skilled communicator able to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA) beneficial but not essential.
