Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Functional Architect to lead enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives for Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS. This role requires a strong mix of business process expertise and technical understanding, ensuring that system improvements deliver measurable value to warehouse and dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Enhancement
• Own functional design for Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS upgrades and enhancements.
• Analyze existing configurations and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability.
• Define functional specifications for new features, integrations, and performance tuning.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Conduct workshops with business teams to capture evolving requirements.
• Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
• Technical Collaboration
• Work closely with developers and integration teams on APIs, microservices, and carrier integrations (e.g., Metapack).
• Validate technical feasibility and ensure alignment with architecture standards.
• Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and system performance improvements.
• Support testing, validation, and deployment of enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS (functional and technical).
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and retail supply chain processes.
• Experience in solution architecture, functional design, and system integration.
• Familiarity with MOCA architecture, APIs, and microservices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working in consulting environments delivering WMS solutions.
• Strong background with retail clients, including omni-channel and e-commerce operations.
• Exposure to automation technologies (AMRs, conveyors).
• Certifications: Blue Yonder WMS, Agile Project Management.
