Data drives decisions, and this role is all about making sure those decisions are smart. Joining a leading lottery consultancy with a real appetite for insight, you’ll help shape how data informs strategy, performance, and growth in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

This is a chance to play a key role in their migration to Power BI, helping unlock better reporting and smarter business decisions.

Role Overview:

  • Location: Hybrid, 2 days per week in Hertfordshire.
  • Role: 9 Month Fixed Term Contract
  • Package: £35,000–£50,000 per annum discretionary bonus benefits
  • Industry: Gambling

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and maintaining insightful Power BI dashboards for key business reporting
  • Translating stakeholder needs into clear, impactful data visualisations
  • Extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from multiple sources for accurate reporting
  • Enhancing and optimising existing reports and dashboards
  • Delivering ad hoc analysis to support both day-to-day operations and strategic projects
  • Championing data governance and ensuring compliance with industry standards
  • Supporting users with training and guidance on using Power BI tools effectively

Main Skills Needed:

  • Solid experience in business intelligence or data analysis
  • Advanced Power BI skills, including data modelling and dashboard creation
  • Confident SQL user with hands-on experience of relational databases
  • Excellent analytical thinking with a knack for problem-solving
  • Clear, confident communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Knowledge of data governance, quality assurance, and best practice reporting
  • Bonus points for experience with other BI tools, cloud platforms, or operational reporting
