Project Manager

Role Overview

• Location: Farnborough (Hybrid)

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects within secure environments
• Manage project plans, budgets, forecasts, risks, changes and overall delivery performance
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
• Identify project dependencies and risks early, driving clear communication across delivery teams
• Apply both Agile and structured project management methodologies where appropriate
• Produce clear reports, dashboards and presentations to keep stakeholders informed
• Support commercial activities including supplier and contract management
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects and delivery specialists to deliver secure, high-quality digital solutions
• Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes and ways of working

Main Skills Needed

• Proven experience managing technology projects from initiation through to delivery
• Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, forecasting and change control
• Experience working with Agile and traditional delivery methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban and Prince2/APMP approaches
• Commercial awareness with experience managing suppliers and contracts
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
• Relevant project management qualification such as APMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification
• Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline, or equivalent commercial experience
• Previous experience within the UK Defence or National Security sector is advantageous
• Eligibility to obtain DV-Security Clearance
