Sales Development Representative

Introduction

Join a growing technology services business that helps organisations modernise, secure and optimise their IT. As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in building the pipeline — opening doors with new prospects and creating opportunities for the wider sales team.

Role Overview:

  • Location: London (3 days in office per week)
  • Package: £40,000 - £45,000 p/a + comm and benefits
  • Industry: Managed Services / IT Services

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Research and identify potential clients across target industries and markets.
  • Reach out to prospects through calls, email and social platforms to introduce services and spark interest.
  • Engage with decision-makers to understand their business challenges and technology needs.
  • Qualify leads to determine whether they’re a good fit for the organisation’s solutions.
  • Book meetings and discovery sessions for the sales team with well-qualified prospects.
  • Maintain accurate records of all activity, conversations and opportunities within the CRM system.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to refine outreach strategies and improve lead generation performance.
  • Share regular updates on activity levels, pipeline development and campaign outcomes.

Main Skills Needed:

  • Previous experience in a Sales Development, Business Development or similar outbound sales role.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior decision-makers.
  • Natural relationship builder with the ability to quickly establish rapport.
  • Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and common sales tools.
  • Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
