Senior Azure Platform Engineer (Security Cleared)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design, build and manage Azure-based infrastructure across compute, networking, storage and container platforms
• Architect hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity solutions, including secure network configurations
• Own and evolve Kubernetes environments to support scalable, resilient deployments
• Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines to streamline delivery and improve engineering efficiency
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and automation to ensure consistency across platforms
• Embed security best practices across cloud environments, including identity, access and threat protection
• Collaborate with engineering and stakeholder teams to deliver robust platform solutions
• Introduce monitoring and observability tooling to maintain platform performance and reliability
• Support both on-prem and cloud systems, ensuring seamless integration and stability
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, tooling and emerging technologies
• Mentor teams on platform best practices and effective use of cloud services

Main Skills Needed:

• Strong Azure expertise across core services, networking and architecture
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Experience with Terraform and HashiCorp tooling for infrastructure automation
• Proven track record building and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD)
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including VPNs, BGP and private connectivity
• Experience with security best practices in cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git) and repository management
• Ability to drive automation and improve operational efficiency
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
• Background in multi-cloud environments is advantageous
