Role Overview:

Contract Length: 6 Months Initially with scope for extension

Location: Farringdon, London- Hybrid (2 days per week)

Day Rate: £500- £580 per day Inside IR35

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead IT projects from initial planning through to delivery and benefits realisation
  • Manage multiple workstreams across a large-scale digital and technology portfolio
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across internal teams and client leadership
  • Oversee project governance, including RAID logs, reporting, financial tracking, and steering committee updates
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, architects, third-party suppliers, and operational stakeholders
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
  • Support the wider PMO with clear reporting, risk management, and portfolio alignment
  • Translate technical requirements into practical business outcomes for non-technical stakeholders
  • Drive delivery across areas such as cyber security, CRM, infrastructure, application development, and digital platforms

Main Skills Needed:

  • Strong Project Management experience within large-scale logistics, supply chain, parcel, or distribution environments
  • Previous experience with major logistics organisations such as Royal Mail, DHL, Amazon, DPD, or FedEx
  • Proven track record delivering technology and digital transformation projects
  • Experience across at least two of the following areas: Cyber Security, CRM/ERP, Application Development, Infrastructure, or Digital Platforms
  • Strong understanding of systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, warehouse management systems, or customer-facing platforms
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and influence senior decision-makers
  • Confident working across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical detail for business audiences
  • Excellent organisation, governance, and financial management capability
