Senior Solution Architect

Role Overview:

• Location: Watford (Flexible hybrid model, up-to 3 days per week onsite)
• Package: Up-to £120,000 Basic plus bonus and perks
• Industry: Digital / Gaming / Entertainment

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead solution architecture across web, mobile, and backend platforms.
• Analyse requirements and legacy systems to design modern, scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with in-house and nearshore development teams on design and implementation.
• Produce high and low-level design documentation for enterprise systems.
• Implement secure, high-performance solutions with multiple integrations.
• Apply modern cloud technologies and security design principles (AWS, Azure).
• Partner with Data, Product, and Enterprise Architects to ensure cohesive system architecture.
• Support digital operations through documentation and liaison with third-party providers.

Main Skills Needed:

• Expert in Kotlin, Swift, and web/mobile frameworks with cloud experience (AWS/Azure).
• Proven track record designing scalable applications for millions of users.
• Strong understanding of architecture frameworks (TOGAF), modelling languages (UML/ArchiMate/BPMN), and IT service delivery (ITIL).
• Experience with Agile, SAFe, Prince2, or PMP methodologies.
• Skilled in analysis, problem-solving, and effective communication across multi-tiered teams.
• 5–7 years in a Solution Architect role, ideally within regulated gaming or financial sectors.
