This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a major retail ERP transformation, ensuring a successful delivery from planning through to go-live.

Role Overview

  • Location: Central London/Hybrid (2 days per week)
  • Contract Length: 6 months initially with scope for extension
  • Day Rate: £600- £700 per day Inside IR35
  • Industry: Consulting / Retail / Digital Transformation

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale S/4HANA transformation programme across multiple work streams.
  • Establish programme governance, reporting frameworks and effective ways of working.
  • Coordinate technical and business teams to keep delivery aligned, integrated and on track.
  • Manage programme dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Oversee business readiness activities, ensuring stakeholders are prepared for change at every level.
  • Own cutover planning and execution, driving a smooth and successful go-live.
  • Provide clear, transparent programme updates to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Champion quality standards and ensure delivery remains aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Drive organisational change and adoption throughout the transformation journey.

Main Skills Needed

  • Proven experience leading SAP S/4 HANA Implementations within an enterprise organisation is essential.
  • Excellent programme management expertise, including governance, risk management and delivery frameworks.
  • Experience managing multiple technical and business workstreams within complex environments.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how technology programmes deliver business value.
  • Excellent analytical, planning and problem-solving abilities.
  • Confident leader who can build alignment and drive outcomes without direct authority.
