Hourly rate: £15.68 PAYE / £20.67 Umbrella
Contract Length: 3-month contract (possibility of extension)
Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday - Friday, 36 hours

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Administration Assistant to join the Family Hubs Service in Croydon on a temporary basis. This role has been created to support the team with a backlog of administrative work.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that registration and attendance information is processed accurately and efficiently, helping to maintain high-quality records for children and families accessing Family Hub services.
Working under the guidance of Family Hubs staff, you will be responsible for processing registration forms, updating records, and maintaining data quality within the Family Hubs case management system (EHM).
Key Responsibilities
- Process Family Hubs registration forms accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Record attendance information on EHM and other electronic systems.
- Review information for completeness and identify any discrepancies or missing details.
- Maintain accurate electronic records and support data quality assurance processes.
- Assist in reducing administrative backlogs and ensuring records remain up to date.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information in line with GDPR and Data Protection requirements.
- Provide general administrative support as directed by Family Hubs management.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous administration and/or data entry experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Good IT skills, including experience using databases and Microsoft Office applications.
- The ability to manage high volumes of repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and consistency.
- An understanding of confidentiality and the handling of sensitive personal information.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Additional Information
- Full training and supervision will be provided.
- The role requires access to EHM and sensitive information relating to children and families.
- Travel between Family Hub locations across Croydon may be required.
- Due to the nature of the work and the need to access secure council systems, this is a fully office-based role and is not suitable for hybrid working.
