About the Role: As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with indirect tax compliance teams and technology partners, helping to deliver complex data solutions that ensure seamless reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Support Indirect Tax Teams: Assist with data requests and extract information when standard reports fall short.
- Data Analytics Management: Lead and deliver impactful data analytics projects.
- Process Improvement: Automate and enhance existing workflows to minimise manual tasks.
- Collaboration: Partner with technology teams to troubleshoot data warehouse issues and support upgrades.
- Data Research: Conduct detailed analysis on large financial datasets, resolving any data quality concerns.
- Optimise Data Operations: Implement innovative projects to streamline data processes.
Who We're Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in analytics, financial systems, data engineering, or business intelligence. - Proficiency in SQL, ETL, and handling large, complex datasets. - Familiarity with indirect tax concepts and accounting principles. - Strong communication skills to convey analytical findings to both business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GenAI tools to enhance and automate processes. - Knowledge of programming languages like Python. - Familiarity with AWS solutions such as EC2, S3, and Redshift. - Capability in gathering business requirements and utilising business intelligence tools for data extraction and reporting.
