Payments (SWIFT) Business Analyst Contract Daily Rate: £550 - £650 (inside IR35 via umbrella) Contract Length: 6 months initially Belfast - 3 days onsite pw is required with 2 days remote working pw Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for payment systems? Our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector, is seeking a Payments (SWIFT) Business Analyst to join their dynamic team for a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on transformation programmes that drive efficiency and innovation within the payments landscape.What You'll Do:Manage and track assigned projects, ensuring deliverables meet required standards and are signed off in a timely manner.Proactively communicate project status, issues, resolutions, and risks to the Sponsor and key stakeholders, maintaining transparency throughout the process.Build and maintain strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to both senior stakeholders and team members.Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple channels to ensure requirements are clearly documented, strategically aligned, and supported by a robust business case, cost-benefit analysis, and associated KPIs.Implement best practises to achieve global consistency, simplifying and standardising processes, controls, and workflows.Support stakeholders throughout the programme lifecycle, including testing and operational readiness planning.Facilitate and deliver change initiatives aimed at reducing risk profiles.Ensure adherence to programme processes, procedures, methods, and standards as defined by PM standards.What We'll Need from You:Proven experience in delivering transformation programmes within a fast-paced, large global financial services firm, ideally within operations, risk, or technology functions.Strong programme management skills, with the ability to track and maintain milestones independently.Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills, with the flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Excellent analytical, data management, and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in documenting findings and proposals using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, and other relevant software.Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate technical and business issues to diverse audiences.Ability to exercise independent judgement and operate with minimal supervision.Experience in stakeholder engagement, with the capability to lead and drive working groups with senior stakeholders.Education:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred.If you are ready to take on this challenging role and contribute to impactful payment solutions, we want to hear from you.
