Business Change Manager - SAP Public Cloud Implementation

The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Business Change Manager to support a major SAP Public Cloud Implementation Programme within a large public sector organisation. The programme will deliver transformational change across HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement and Schools, impacting more than 6,000 employees.
Working within the Business Change Team, you will drive change management activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring stakeholders are engaged, prepared and ready to adopt new ways of working. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring strong stakeholder management, business readiness, communications and change impact assessment experience.
This role would suit a seasoned Business Change professional with experience delivering organisational change on large-scale ERP or SAP transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities Business Change Delivery- Deliver business change activities across allocated SAP workstreams in line with the overall change strategy.
- Develop and maintain change plans for assigned business areas.
- Monitor progress against milestones, identifying and escalating risks, issues and dependencies.
- Support delivery through all phases of the programme lifecycle.
- Identify and assess impacted stakeholder groups.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders, SMEs and operational teams.
- Facilitate workshops, engagement sessions and business readiness activities.
- Support stakeholders throughout the transition, addressing concerns and gathering feedback.
- Support and engage a network of Change Champions.
- Facilitate regular meetings and ensure actions, messages and feedback are effectively managed.
- Act as the primary contact for Change Champions across assigned business areas.
- Communications & Impact Assessment
- Deliver targeted communications aligned to the programme communication plan.
- Conduct detailed Change Impact Assessments.
- Identify impacts across people, process, policy, technology and organisational structures.
- Develop mitigation plans and maintain impact logs throughout the programme.
- Support Business Readiness Assessments and readiness planning.
- Ensure teams are prepared for testing, cutover and go-live activities.
- Monitor adoption following implementation and support hypercare activities.
- Capture feedback and help resolve adoption challenges.
- Maintain change documentation, RAID logs, action trackers and readiness reports.
- Provide regular progress updates to programme leadership.
- Proven experience delivering business change on complex transformation programmes.
- Strong ERP implementation experience, ideally SAP (SAP Public Cloud preferred).
- Experience conducting Change Impact Assessments and Business Readiness Assessments.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience working with and supporting Change Champion networks.
- Ability to translate technical change into meaningful business impacts.
- Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Proactive approach to risk identification and problem solving.
- Ability to build trusted relationships across both business and technical teams.
- Competitive day rate of £550-£600 per day.
