An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cyber Project Manager with strong asset management and regulatory compliance experience to join a major multi-year cyber and operational technology (OT) transformation programme.
This role is ideal for a delivery-focused project manager who thrives in complex environments, can manage competing priorities, and brings a structured approach to driving compliance-related change.
The OpportunityYou will lead the delivery of cyber, OT and asset-management projects designed to support compliance with the Network & Information Systems (NIS) Regulations. These projects contribute to a larger regulatory roadmap targeting enhanced compliance by 2027.
Although remote-first, the role requires occasional on-site time in England and Scotland for workshops, asset engagement sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
What You'll Be Doing- Deliver cyber and operational technology projects aligned to a broader NIS compliance roadmap.
- Build and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, governance documentation, and stage-gate deliverables.
- Lead cross-functional matrix teams, ensuring clarity of priorities and removal of blockers.
- Ensure alignment with the Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and other relevant regulatory guidance.
- Drive improvements in asset lifecycle management and operational compliance.
- Manage risks, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations across business and technical teams.
- Facilitate governance forums, steering groups, workshops, and business readiness activities.
- Communicate project status clearly to senior stakeholders and programme leadership.
- Strong background delivering asset management or operational technology projects.
- Experience delivering projects within NIS Regulations or similar regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver complex technical or business-change projects in demanding environments.
- Strong planning, RAID management, and governance capability.
- Skilled in stakeholder management across matrix delivery environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management qualifications (APM, PMI, Prince2).
- Experience in industrial, utilities, critical infrastructure, or energy-related environments.
- Exposure to operational sites, industrial control systems, or OT cyber initiatives.
- Background in asset lifecycle management improvement.
- A fast-paced, high-workload environment.
- Multi-year transformation programme with strong potential for contract extensions.
- Flexible remote working with travel guided by project needs.
