DDaT Project Manager - (SC / DV Clearance preferable)

Join an organisation delivering secure digital, data and technology (DDaT) services across government and critical national environments. We're looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead secure projects that support complex operational needs across multiple sectors.
The RoleAs a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering secure DDaT projects from initial business case development through to final delivery. You'll plan, manage and execute complex work within time, cost and quality constraints, while ensuring compliance with established governance frameworks and Secure by Design principles.
Working within upper-tier secure government environments, you'll engage with senior stakeholders, lead multidisciplinary teams and champion user-centred, accessible and secure service design. Your expertise in risk management, project controls and stakeholder engagement will ensure successful, high-quality outcomes.
What You'll Do- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, technical specialists and government partners.
- Communicate project status, risks and strategic implications clearly and confidently.
- Ensure alignment with internal programme governance frameworks and contribute to business cases, assurance reviews and formal reporting.
- Lead preparation for service assessments and internal governance boards.
- Champion user needs, accessibility and good service design throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with user researchers, designers and technical architects to deliver secure, scalable and effective services.
- Plan and schedule major work packages, manage the project supply chain, and support resource and pipeline forecasting to ensure optimal use of organisational capability.
- Experience working within secure, upper-tier government or similar high-assurance environments.
- Proven ability to lead project teams effectively within a matrix structure.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior customer leadership.
- High levels of motivation, independence and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies, with proficiency in Microsoft Project.
This role operates on a hybrid working model. You will spend a minimum of 60% of your working time on-site in Milton Keynes, in line with organisational hybrid working policies.
