Data Analyst (Compliance Risk Analyst)

• Duration - 6 months with room for extension thereafter
• Day Rate - £300 to £350 per day Umbrella
• Location: East London
• Hybrid Working (3 days Office / 2 days Home)

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a public sector organisation on an initial month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a data driven professional to play a key role in identifying, analysing and reporting compliance risks across the business.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will transform complex and fragmented data into meaningful insights, helping the organisation better understand its risk exposure and support effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse large and complex datasets from multiple systems and data sources
• Identify trends, strengths, risks and areas of non-compliance, providing clear recommendations
• Support regulatory reporting and risk mitigation planning
• Produce insightful reports and dashboards for senior management
• Improve visibility of compliance risks across the organisation
• Work with housing compliance data, including Damp & Mould and wider housing compliance data
• Translate technical data into clear and actionable business intelligence

About You

• Strong experience in data analysis and reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
• Naturally inquisitive with the ability to interrogate data and identify emerging risks
• Experience producing reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience as a Data Analyst within a housing or public sector organisation would be advantageous
