Pay Rate £203 to £226 per day PAYE
Hours 40 per week
(Shift Based Role On site only)
We are hiring Data Center Technical Operations Engineers to support a live data centre environment in the Heathrow area. This is a hands on operational role focused on maintaining critical power and cooling infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and operate electrical and mechanical systems within a live data centre
Monitor UPS systems switchgear ATS diesel generators chillers HVAC and transformers
Take daily operational readings including temperature voltage and current
Troubleshoot incidents within internal SLAs
Supervise contractors performing servicing and preventive maintenance
Support commissioning activities power ups and infrastructure readiness
Participate in shift rotation including nights and on call
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems
Preferred Experience
Experience in data centre engineering
Minimum 2 years experience in data centre operations
Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical or equivalent engineering discipline
