Location: Worthing (1 - 2 days PW onsite required)
Contract Length: 6 months
Daily Rate: 500 - 600 (inside IR35 via umbrella)
Are you passionate about data and ready to take the lead in driving analytics capabilities within an organisation? We are looking for a Data Enablement Lead to join our client's team in Worthing. This is an exciting opportunity to stabilise current delivery and set the foundation for a robust data culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Immediate Term:
Maintain service continuity and ensure the stabilisation of current delivery processes.
finalise and activate communication and change management plans.
Launch or expand Communities of practise (CoPs) to promote peer-led learning.
Define and scope the Centre of Excellence (CoE) operating model.
Support ongoing training programmes and prioritise self-service backlog.
Provide light-touch coaching to reinforce self-service principles within existing teams.
Medium Term (Months 3-6):
Implement the Data Federation self-service framework with 2-3 business cohorts as pilots.
Finalise the delivery roadmap, objectives, and milestones for broader implementation.
Align BI efforts with major business transformation initiatives.
Design and implement a capability matrix and service delivery framework.
Collaborate with HR to define harmonised data job roles and career paths.
Co-create solutions with business stakeholders to enhance engagement and ownership.
Long Term (End of Contract):
Transition service ownership to internal teams across business units.
Lead the rollout of data literacy initiatives, including training and certification.
Embed supporting processes such as governance, triage, and metadata practises.
Track and optimise adoption through KPIs and feedback loops.
Sustain momentum via champion networks, office hours, and regular showcases.
Skills & Competencies:
Proven experience in delivering self-service analytics at scale.
Strong technical familiarity with tools such as Alteryx, Qlik, and PowerBI.
Expertise in coaching and enablement within early-stage or low-maturity data environments.
Track record of launching Communities of practise and Centres of Excellence.
Experience in building training frameworks aligned with business strategy.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to operate strategically while providing hands-on support as needed.
Flexibility to scale support through junior resources.
