Contract Duration: 6 months initially - opportunity for up to 2 years!
Daily Rate: £450 Umbrella
Shape the Future of Data Engineering
We are looking for a talented Data Engineer (AVP) to join our development team in London. This role will help drive our migration from a legacy Oracle environment to a modern cloud-based data platform powered by Databricks.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop and enhance Data Marts using Databricks, SQL and Python.
- Build scalable,reliable and high-performing data pipelines.
- Support Oracle-to-cloud migration initiatives.
- Collaborate with architects, DBAs and business stakeholders.
- Drive automation, monitoring and operational excellence.
What We're Looking For
- Strong Databricks and cloud data platform experience
- Expertise in SQL and working knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of data modelling and ETL/ELT best practices.
- Experience migrating Oracle or legacy platforms.
- Understanding of CI/CD, Git and orchestration tools.
