Location: South West of England.
Contract Type: 6 months.
Daily Rate: £350 - £425 per day, outside IR35.
Working Pattern: Full Time, Hybrid.
Are you ready to make a significant impact ? Our client, a leading organisation, is seeking a Data Warehouse Specialist Developer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the health sector by enhancing data infrastructure that supports patient care!
Key Responsibilities:
As a Data Warehouse Specialist Developer, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and developing the organisations Data Warehouse and BI architecture. Your expertise will ensure that our data is accurate, secure, and effectively utilised. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Data Warehouse & BI Management: Oversee the adaptation, support, and development of technologies and processes that ensure safe use of the Data Warehouse and BI Platform.
- Technical Expertise: Act as a go-to specialist for PostgreSQL, Wherescape, Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS), and Microsoft Power BI.
- Problem Solving: analyse and resolve complex queries, implementing IM&T policies and contributing to BI delivery solutions.
- Reporting: Provide technical support to the Information Services team, ensuring data quality and compliance.
- SUS and SLAM Processes: Create and maintain SUS and SLAM processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience in a similar field.
- Significant experience in a Data Warehouse or Informatics environment within healthcare, with strong development experience in PostgreSQL and Wherescape.
- Expert knowledge of Data Warehousing techniques, Microsoft SQL Server, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
