Location: Mainly Remote (Occasional visits to offices in Solihull, London & Hampshire)

Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates

Role Profile

Are you a visionary Enterprise Architect with a passion for technology and a knack for transforming complex challenges into innovative solutions? We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team and lead the architectural strategy for our public sector bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the DDaT lead on strategic bids, defining the overall enterprise technology architecture and delivery roadmap.
  • Collaborate with bid teams and business development teams to design technology solutions that align with business strategy and client requirements.
  • Integrate multiple technology suppliers into a cohesive and coherent solution, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
  • Work with Enterprise Architects to maintain alignment with architectural roadmaps and standards, ensuring solutions remain future-proof and scalable.
  • Present solution designs, cost models, and technical strategies as part of the bid governance process.
  • Support mobilisation teams in the implementation of winning bids, ensuring solutions are delivered as designed and effectively transition into live service.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex technical issues and communicate IT strategies clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in public sector bid development, with a proven track record of delivering integrated solutions involving multiple suppliers.
  • A degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of modern enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud-based technologies (e.g., SaaS, Azure), and applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and communicate technical solutions to business challenges effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
