Field Security Engineer

Job Title: Field Security Engineer (CCTV / Intruder Systems)

Office Location: Aylesbury

Contract Details: Permanent

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum (based on experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (30-minute lunch break) plus alternate Saturday shift.

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Install, service, maintain, and repair various fire and security systems
• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting
• Work on-site with clients across the UK, ensuring a professional and high-quality service
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience in the electronic security sector
• Strong technical knowledge of both open and closed protocol systems
• Good understanding of electrical principles (voltage, current drain, etc.)
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Working knowledge of current security system standards
• A valid UK driving licence

Desirable skills:

• Experience with structured cabling and system integration
• Basic IP networking knowledge and IT competence
