Job Title: Fixed Income Front Office QA Automation Engineer (Contract)Location: 100 Liverpool Street, LondonContract Length: 6 monthsRate: £500 - £800 per day via UmbrellaHybrid: 2 to 3 days in office

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join the Fixed Income Front Office team within a leading global financial institution.

You will lead QA automation for high-volume, mission-critical Fixed Income trading platforms, building and scaling automation frameworks that enhance delivery quality across Credit, Rates, and Repo business streams.

This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to ensure robust, efficient, and scalable testing solutions supporting complex front-office systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead automation initiatives across Fixed Income Sales and Trading platforms
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for functional and regression testing
• Partner with developers and QA leads to define and implement test strategies
• Ensure quality and consistency in front-office systems across multiple asset classes
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure smooth releases and delivery

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in software testing and QA automation within financial services
• Strong coding skills in Java, C#, Python, or .NET
• Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, REST Assured, JIRA, XRAY, and CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, or Jenkins
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income products and E-trading systems such as Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, or ION
• Strong data validation and SQL skills
• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management abilities
