We are seeking an experienced Head of Projects to lead the delivery and governance of a complex portfolio of large-scale, multi-partner programmes. This is a senior role with responsibility for project operations, financial management, stakeholder engagement, and team leadership, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, delivery, and reporting of a diverse portfolio of projects.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and governance across funded programmes.
  • Act as senior point of contact for partners, funders, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee operational activity including finance, IT, facilities, and reporting.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop project and administrative staff.
  • Support strategic planning, new project development, and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Proven experience in senior project or programme management.
  • Strong budget management and governance experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Confident managing complex, multi-partner environments.
  • Background in research, innovation, technology, or engineering environments is desirable.
