Position: ICT Helpdesk Technician

Contract Type: Temporary
Working Pattern: Full Time
Hourly Rate: £16.62
As an ICT Helpdesk Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to their education customers. This is a customer-facing position where your ability to deliver excellent service will shine! You will be working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to the rapid changes in ICT administration and curriculum settings.
What You'll Do:
- Provide first-line remote support via telephone and remote tools, following established processes.
- Handle service desk inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Conduct site visits when necessary to resolve technical issues.
- Utilise your knowledge of Windows operating systems, M365 products, and relevant software applications to assist users effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding service and support.
- Prioritise workloads to meet peak demands and ensure timely resolutions.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a busy service desk environment.
- Familiarity with Connectwise Manage is desirable.
- Proficient in using remote support tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Strong understanding of IT and numeracy skills to accurately update service desk software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
- Ability to set up, adjust, and maintain technical equipment as required.
